Welcome!
Welcome to St. Peter’s! We understand that being new isn’t easy. Thank you for taking the first step. We hope you feel welcomed among us and we look forward to getting to know you. We invite you to join us for a service this Sunday. Take a few minutes to stop by the Visitor’s Desk before or after the service to say hi and learn more about our church. Our prayer is that you and your family will experience an approach to worship that is God-centered, creative, and powerful.
Worship Information
St. Peter’s celebrates the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through participation in weekly worship and special services. Sunday services include worship at 9:00am, 11:15am, and at 5:00pm. We also have weekday Morning and Evening Prayer and a Healing Service on Wednesdays at 12:10pm. You are invited to participate in our 9:00am Sunday morning worship service through livestream on YouTube.
Family Worship and Childcare
Nursery is available for infants and children up to Kindergarten during our Sunday morning services. Check in for nursery is located downstairs once you enter the Cathedral. Children in first grade and older are invited to participate in corporate worship with their family in the pews, however, children in first grade and younger are invited to come to Children’s Chapel for a portion of the 9:00am service where they will have an opportunity to hear the Gospel, pray, sing, and participate in a format that is enriching and engaging. Children will gather in the Narthex once the Sequence Hymn is sung and will return to their pews during The Peace.
Newcomer Events
You are invited to the Newcomer Lunch and Learn to fellowship and learn more about the Keys of St. Peter’s. We will have lunch after the 11:15 service and introduce you to some of our staff, vestry, and clergy. Come talk about Jesus, the Anglican church, and how you can get connected so we can all work together as the hands and feet of Christ. Confirmation is offered to those that complete the catechumenal process, which studies three key components of a Jesus-shaped life. In The Anglican Catechism, we learn about our common faith. In Prayer Book 101, we learn about our common worship. In Spiritual Gifts Discovery, we learn about the common service to which we are all called.
Discover your Spiritual gifts
Do you know what your spiritual gifts are? God has equipped each one of us with spiritual gifts which He intends for us to use to build up the Church and to be His witnesses in the world. Spiritual Gifts Discovery is a morning workshop designed to help you discern your spiritual gifts, so you can put them to use in the service of the Lord and His people.
Prior to participating, there are a few things to do.
Complete the Spiritual Gifts Inventory with the link below.
Ask a mentor, friend, and family member to complete the Spiritual Gifts Reference form linked below.
Download the Spiritual Gifts Workbook linked below and begin working through the Checklist on page 1.
Please email Katie Munroe at Katie@StPetersFL.com for more information about Spiritual Gifts Discovery.
Even if there isn’t an upcoming Spiritual Gifts Discovery Class, you can always utilize these resources to learn about and/or reassess your spiritual gifts! Upon completion of the Spiritual Gifts Inventory and having a few trusted friends or family members complete the Reference form, consider meeting with a Cathedral staff member or priest to discuss how you might utilize your gifts!
