A Lay Eucharistic Minister Visitor (LEM-V): is a lay person
authorized to take the Consecrated Elements in a timely manner
following a Celebration of Holy Eucharist to members of the
congregation who, by reason of illness or infirmity, were unable to
be present at the celebration on Sunday.
A LEM-V acts under the direction of a deacon. Should there not
be a deacon , then any member of the clergy or other leader
exercising oversight of the congregation, would be responsible.
Our LEM-V team here at St. Peter's, are holding a meeting of all
current LEM-V's and those who are interested in joining our
special ministry. This meeting will include a light lunch and last
approx. 90 minutes.
If you are interested in becoming a LEM-V and joining our special
team of caring and faithful laypersons, please plan on attending.
Sunday November 24, 2024 in the parish hall at 12:45PM.
We look forward to seeing everyone.
