More About Honor Flight
Honor Flight is a special mission. It is to honor veterans of all service eras but gives priority to those who served during WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War and the time periods between these conflicts.
The Honor Flight Network’s mission is to fly our nation’s veterans to Washington DC. Each veteran and an escort will fly to and from Washington, D.C., and during the four-day trip will tour the memorials and monuments in the D.C. area honoring their service and sacrifice.
The Honor Flight Network is a national network comprised of independent Hubs working together in furtherance of the Honor Flight mission. Participation in an Honor Flight trip gives veterans the opportunity to share this momentous occasion with other comrades, to remember friends and comrades lost, and share their stories and experiences with other veterans. All honored veterans travel at no cost to the veteran.
Honor Flight resumed full operations on August 18, 2021. Our speaker Mac Kemp will share with us the unique, and special moments during an Honor Flight.
